D'Anne is a native Californian who has lived and worked in t

About D'Anne

D'Anne is a native Californian who has lived and worked in the Tri-Valley area for about 30 years. She retired from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2001 and studied painting, drawing, mixed media and art history with Bill Paskowitz at Las Positas College in Livermore, CA for about 13 years.

D'Anne lives in Livermore with her husband, Earle Ipsen, who is a retired architect turned photographer. They go on photography excursions around the San Francisco Bay Area, Mendocino County and other California destinations. These adventures are reflected in the paintings and photos that D'Anne creates.

D'Anne and Earle are members of the Livermore Art Association (LAA) as well as the Pleasanton Art League (PAL) and participate in club activities and exhibitions. D'Anne's particular interest is working with new materials and creating unusual images via painting and photography.
